Australian Landscape Photography
Hi, my name is Adam Monk and this is my website , it shows you a little of how I see the world, the natural world as Nature created it. That's the world I love to live in, the wild outback far from the influence of man, the world of Naked Landscapes.
Photography was a natural next step - something I have been doing since I was 15 years old - to be able to bring some of these raw Naked Landscapes back home, to show them to others and hopefully inspire a little of the same things I feel when I'm out there, a love of the wild untamed places.
I used to spend long hours in makeshift darkrooms created in the bathroom, darkrooms that were only dark at night The first rays of dawn creeping through the black plastic over the window would herald the end of the nights session and I would emerge bleary eyed and smelling of chemicals, clutching the latest prized Black & White images.
Well, I have swapped my darkroom for a Mac computer and an Epson 9900 printer, but the obsession is still there...if anything it has grown with me and the wild untamed places still hold the same fascination.
